Corporate Social Responsibly (CSR) activities are no more just a façade for the corporations these days. With consumers becoming more aware and ensuring that they trade only with those organizations that are contributing to the society and environment, it has become a need of the hour for companies.

At CADY, we are committed to ensure the betterment of our society as well as the environment and it is depicted clearly in the way we carry out our operations. We strive to make our transportation services as fuel-efficient as possible while fostering the spirit of giving back among all our team members, be it our drivers or our customer service representatives.

Empower Our People

At CADY, we are committed to ensure the betterment of our society as well as the environment and it is depicted clearly in the way we carry out our operations.

We have set up a CADY Cares fundraising initiative to contribute to different causes in the community while also offering volunteering services for our drivers as well as staff. Also, we make conscious effort to ensure that our freight services are environment friendly.

Our team organizes two fundraisers each year, one being in spring and another in fall. These events help us in consolidating our efforts for the fundraising while helping us contribute to the specific charities that work for the betterment of the society.

Additionally, CADY drivers and employees actively contribute to the various community events, which include:

  • World’s Largest Truck Convoy
  • Challenge for Life
  • School Reading Programs
  • FMG Manitoba Dragon Boat Teams

Environmental Awareness

Being a preferred choice among the businesses across Canada, we are aware of our responsibility towards the environment as well as the community. Thus, we consciously make effort and have invested a lot of time and resources to ensure that we design such transportation solutions which emit as less Greenhouse Gas (GHG) as possible.
Also, we are actively engaged with the Natural Resource Canada’s FleetSmart program, and the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s SmartWay Transport Partnership as these programs have the same goals as ours.
Some of the steps taken by us include:

  • Effective Equipment Purchasing: We purchase only the advanced equipment that are loaded with multiple fuel saving devices.
  • Effective Policy: Our company has executed both speed limits and idle time expectations for all the drivers to improve our fuel efficiency.
  • Training and Education: We use state of the art recreation technology and computer-based training programs to ensure our drivers are aware and fuel efficient while they are on the road.
  • Multi-Modal Transportation: We have developed an elaborate network of transportation that allows us to move freight via Long Combination Vehicles (LCV) and rail, thus contributing in the GHG reduction.
